We store your information in our databases and backup databases that are located in the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, and the United States. We also use Hubspot and Salesforce to conduct marketing and sales activities. These two companies are clouds located in the United States, and certified Privacy Shield. Since they are clouds, they may also store information about you. We have data processing agreements with all our hosting companies and strive to conduct audits of their security practice to ensure that your information is safe at all time.
How do we protect your information?
Security of information is the core of our business and we strive to implement adequate physical, technical and organizational safeguards to make sure your data is safe with us. These measures are meant to protect your information against accidental, unauthorized or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, access, use or processing. We have many certifications demonstrating the efforts that we invested into securing your personal information, such as ISO 27001.
Additionally certain products require the collection of “policyholder” data in order to function properly. Symbility has security measures in place that prevent any sensitive customer or “policyholder” data from ever being used.
