Version 2.17 delivers real time electronic dental claim adjudication for its clients
TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – June 4, 2008) – Automated Benefits Inc. (Autoben), a wholly owned subsidiary of Automated Benefits Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AUT), is pleased to announce its newest software release, version 2.17, of its Autoben software system.

Version 2.17 of the Autoben software includes a variety of enhancements designed to offer a better user experience when navigating the software and give users better management over large volumes of claims. These upgrades include:

- Real time e-dental adjudication
-- E-dental claims can now be adjudicated in real-time rather than in batch
submissions. Electronically submitted claims will now be received in
less than 30 seconds, will automatically adjudicate based on plan
parameters and dental offices will receive instant notifications of these
processes in their offices. Pre-determinations can also be received
   electronically.
- Claims experience feature
-- Nine new features have been added to the claims experience function such
as a resizable screen, multiple screen viewing capacity and an improved
adjudication notes feature. This component now highlights additional
details such as division IDs and tooth codes as well.
- Block feature
-- A level has been added to enable users to group employers by specific
   blocks.
-Claim override function
-- Users can now manually reject or adjust the amount payable on a claim
based on explanations on the adjudication screen. Tracking reports for
this feature are also available that record and report all override
   activity.
- View previously stored pre-determinations and weekly indemnity/short term
  disability claims
-- Pre-determinations and weekly indemnity/short term disability claims can
now be saved within the software and recalled for adjudication at a later
   date.

“Autoben is committed to providing the most efficient and dynamic software solution for the adjudication of health and dental claims,” states John Jackson, president of Automated Benefits Inc. “Electronic dental claim payment will complement our existing software functionality by adding to our electronic processes already offered.
