(TSX VENTURE: SY) a global provider of cloud-based and smartphone/tablet-enabled claims technology for the property and casualty and health insurance industries, is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Adjuvantz, a leading Canadian healthcare organization offering medical support solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and insurance industries.
Adjuvantz will implement Symbility Health’s Claims Connect® technology to manage their medical support programs and allow for a more effective and seamless collaboration between program managers, patients, insurance payers, and prescription drug fulfillment providers. Thanks to Symbility Health’s Claims Connect platform, Adjuvantz’ new business rule-driven system will function with greater speed and efficiency, creating a more intuitive workflow for Adjuvantz’s users, including:
- Quicker patient profile management, ensuring that required actions and tasks within a patient’s profile are optimally actioned.
- Ability to access Symbility Health’s ecosystem of carriers, third-party administrators, patients, pharmacy benefit management and specialty pharmacy fulfillment.
- Customization potential of Symbility Health’s adjudication technology will enable Adjuvantz to build tailor-made features and functionalities to adapt their product offering to the evolving health claims industry and ultimately reach new geographic areas.
This contract also represents the next link in the healthcare ecosystem by allowing Adjuvantz to integrate seamlessly with specialty pharmacies, such as BioScript Pharmacy, in order to fulfill scripts and deliver drug infusions.
