Claim Events and Notification Matrix
This table shows what Journal entry is recorded and/or what notification is sent when specific events occur. Certain events do not result in a Journal entry. Certain events do not result in a notification. When a notification is sent, the text of the notification may differ depending on the notification method.
The text in blue shows example data—it will be substituted with the appropriate values for your own claims. Our example scenario involves two adjusters, Rick Smith and Sarah Hepner at Global Insurance and contracting firm True North Contracting whom they do business with regularly. Below are examples of the kinds of notifications that might be sent regarding an emergency water damage claim for the insured Joe Smith.				Notification Method
