Error when starting mobile claims on WM2003SE Pocket PC: Unable to update the database, not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
When starting mobile claims on a Pocket PC with the Windows Mobile 2003 SE operating system, the error "Unable to update the database. Please contact Symbility Technical Support. (MS SQL Server 2000 Windows CE Edition). Not enough storage is available to complete this operation." is received.
The cause of this error is not enough free memory to create the data file needed to run the program. On Pocket PCs with the Windows Mobile 2003 SE operating system, storage memory (used to store data files) is shared with program memory-as one is consumed, less is available for the other.

The location that mobile claims stores the data file in can be set to any available storage location. By default it uses the internal memory of the Pocket PC (storage and program memory) but it can be changed to store the data file on external memory, like a SD or CF memory card. Memory cards are inexpensive and can easily solve memory problems. A 128MB card would be sufficient.
Once you have enough free program memory, open mobile claims, but before logging in do the following:
