Unable to login to mobile claims due to error: (PocketSOAP) Transport->Send failed. (0x800b0109)

The following error is encountered when attempting to login to Symbility mobile claims.

The problem is occurring because the component of Windows XP that processes digital signatures is damaged. In order to resolve this behavior, we need to re-register specific .dll files. To view the documentation posted by Microsoft, click here.

How to re-register digital signatures

A. Make sure all applications are closed before beginning this process. A keyboard should be used for the following steps.

  1. Tap on Start, and then tap Run.
  2. In the Open field of the Run dialog box, type "cmd", and then tap OK.
  3. At the command prompt type "regsvr32 softpub.dll", then press ENTER.
  4. Press OK when you receive the message "DllRegisterServer in Softpub.dll" succeeded.
  5. Repeat step 3 by substituting the following:
    • regsvr32 Wintrust.dll
    • regsvr32 Initpki.dll
    • regsvr32 Dssenh.dll
    • regsvr32 Rsaenh.dll
    • regsvr32 Gpkcsp.dll
    • regsvr32 Sccbase.dll
    • regsvr32 Slbcsp.dll
    • regsvr32 Mssip32.dll
    • regsvr32 Cryptdlg.dll

Finally, type "exit", and then press ENTER to quit the Command Prompt.
