Unable to login to mobile claims: Norton Personal Firewall conflict
The following error is received when attempting to login to Symbility mobile claims for the first time.

The problem is occurring because Norton Personal Firewall conflicts with any software using HTTPS (a protocol for transferring data securely) on port 443 in order for mobile claims to work, Norton Personal Firewall needs to be configured.
How to configure Norton Personal Firewall 2005
A. Make sure that Symbility mobile claims is allowed to connect to Symbility.NET
- Open Norton Personal Firewall interface and tap Personal Firewall
- Tap Configure and select the Programs tab
- Look for "Symbility mobile claims" in the program list. If it is not there, tap Add... and select the file "mClaim.exe", located in the folder "C:\Program Files\Symbility mobile claims"
- Make sure that mobile claims has the Internet Access setting of "Permit All"

B. Make sure that Norton Personal Firewall is aware that port 443 (HTTPs) is a valid HTTP port
Norton Personal Firewall monitors traffic that travels on a list of specified ports. Because of an apparent bug in Norton Personal Firewall, it does not have port 443 (HTTPs) as a port in that list, blocking the traffic that mobile claims is trying to send to Symbility.NET (port 443 is commonly used to transmit secure data). Here is how to add port 443 (HTTPs) to the list of HTTP ports:
- Open Norton Personal Firewall interface and tap Options
- Tap the Firewall tab and look at the list of HTTP ports
- Tap Add... and type "443" as the port to monitor
- Tap OK twice
