Pen-Based Claim Estimating
Symbility introduces the next revolution in property loss claim processing technology. Our mobile claims software is the first and only designed from the ground up specifically for pen-based, wireless computers.
For the first time, claim adjusters and restoration contractors can:
- Complete full estimates while moving around the site
- Access all claims data from anywhere
- Draw graphically rich floor plans, roof plans and exterior elevations using only a pen
- Capture room and roof dimensions in one click with a wireless Disto® laser rangefinder
- Transmit estimates, photos and floor plans wirelessly to other claim participants before leaving the site
- Be notified instantly of all claim activity
Symbility's mobile claims™ system is a revolutionary property claims processing technology that allows estimators to create, analyze, edit, review, transmit and receive complete property loss estimates anytime, anywhere.
Symbility allows users to keep moving while building their estimates, even recording measurements. Record all details about the loss directly into the pen-based PC, and concurrently create the estimate—including floor plans, roof plans, photos, notes and annotations. No double-entry of data.

The stylus and Symbility's
annotation tools provide unprecedented levels of communication
of exactly what's at the loss site. This results in a more accurate
assessment, and a faster understanding for those that are not at the
site. |

Symbility's unique freeform "connect-the-dots" drawing tool (patent pending) lets you scope rooms of any
shape and size easily. |
|
Apply items to any portion of any
interior or exterior surface-graphically. |
|
Stairways, doors, windows, missing walls, half-walls, bulkheads,
peaked ceilings...if you can use a pen, you can
draw them. |
|
Attach notes and photos directly to line items. |
|
Daylight-readable display (on certain models) allows
the software to be used even in direct sunlight. |

Bluetooth®
wireless technology (on certain models) allows the instant capture
of measurements of exteriors, roofs and interior rooms (including doors, windows, etc.)
directly from a Disto® laser rangefinder (and eliminating up to 60% of the time spent on-site manually measuring with a tape
measure. |

Symbility's unique wireless claim
synchronization technology takes advantage of WiFi (802.11b/g), or wide-area
wireless (!X/EV-DO/GPRS/EDGE) technologies and allows field users to send completed or
partial estimates to other participants in a
claim without even
leaving the
site. It also provides real-time access to all claim
data, so everyone is instantly aware of all activity that occurs in
a claim. |

Pen-based scoping is quickest and easiest
Symbility's unique freeform "connect-the-dots" drawing tool (patent pending) lets you scope rooms of any shape and size easily with the stylus. Regardless of the shape of rooms or roofs drawn, Symbility calculates the surface area and linear length of the floor, ceiling and every wall—simply drag items with the pen from the regionalized pricing database to the surface(s) they apply to, in order to build the estimate.
