Symbility is all about mobility, and this translates into efficiency. Designed from the ground up, specifically for wireless, pen-based computers, Symbility had been engineered for slow wireless bandwidth, programmed for slower CPUs with memory and screen size restrictions, and designed so that the stylus is the only input device required.

Symbility's mobile claims solution is the only claims processing system that:

• Has no upfront capital outlays, no licensing or copy-protection issues allowing its users to pay only for what they require
• Has non-proprietary data exchange and is easily integrated with other electronic claims systems
• Requires only "thin client" computing hardware to complete on-site estimates—and just a browser and Internet connection to access data
• Captures measurements of exterior roofs and interior rooms, doors, windows, etc. directly from a Disto® laser rangefinder – (effectively eliminating 60% of manual onsite measuring)

The complete Symbility solution is comprised of two components:

Symbility.NET − an Internet-based communications hub, data warehouse and analytics engine, allowing claim participants to access all information related to any claims they have participated in, from any computer with an Internet connection. It also provides very powerful analytics tools to mine the extensive data collected with each claim and create various graphical and tabular reports, as well as search for specific claims based on numerous criteria.

mobile claims − a freely-downloadable, lightweight application that is used to review claims, gather information, create and edit estimates in the field (on a pen-based computer). By utilizing our unique claims synchronization technology, mobile claims is an extension of Symbility.NET, allowing users to take claims data off-line, anywhere. It runs on virtually any current Windows® computer, pen-based or other.
